Why I built it
I needed full-size workbenches in the new shop without permanently giving up the floor space. These give me a full 30" × 8' work surface when I need it and fold against the wall when I don't.
Mine are built a little higher than a typical workbench for a more comfortable upright working position, but the plans explain how to adjust the height for your space.
