Cutting one piece on the bandsaw is easy. Cutting a batch of small parts and getting everything to sit right in the vise is where the time gets wasted.

The 4Link4WD Bandsaw Grouping Jaw System is designed to help keep grouped material supported and easier to clamp for repeat cuts. Instead of fighting loose pieces, awkward stacks, or resetting the vise over and over, this system helps make batch cutting faster and more efficient.

Designed around the Harbor Freight 7" x 12" horizontal/vertical metal cutting bandsaw and similar import-style 7x12 saws with matching vise dimensions.

Current sizing covers 1/4" to 1" material, mainly in groups of 4 and groups of 9.

Current lead time: 1–2 weeks before shipping.

Why I made it

If you cut batches of small parts, spacers, tabs, round stock, or tube, you already know the cut usually is not the annoying part.

The annoying part is getting multiple pieces grouped, supported, and clamped well enough to make repeat cuts without wasting time on setup.

This system was designed to make that process quicker and more repeatable for small shops, fabricators, and anyone doing batch cutting on a bandsaw.

How it works

The system uses a magnetic main body with interchangeable size inserts.

Each insert slides into the main body using dovetails and locks in place with a detent pin. The inserts are labeled with the material size and grouping they are designed to hold, so you can quickly grab the right insert for the job.

The main body has magnets to help hold it against the bandsaw vise during setup. Once positioned, load your grouped material, clamp it securely with the vise, and make the cut.

Less time fighting the setup. More time cutting parts.

Sizing

Current insert sizing ranges from 1/4" to 1".

Most inserts are designed around common grouped layouts, mainly groups of 4 and groups of 9.

Each insert is labeled with the material size and grouping it is designed to hold.

Please select the insert option that matches the material size and grouping you plan to cut.

Bandsaw fitment

This system was designed around the Harbor Freight 7" x 12" horizontal/vertical metal cutting bandsaw.

The main body and inserts are sized for a vise with approximately:

  • Stationary vise jaw length: 7.75"
  • Movable/clamping vise jaw length: about 6"

Many 7" x 12" import-style bandsaws appear to use a very similar vise layout, so this system may fit other brands with similar jaw dimensions.

Please compare your bandsaw vise dimensions to our photos before ordering. Fitment may vary depending on saw brand, vise style, jaw shape, and any modifications to your saw.

Lead time

This is a small batch launch item.

Current estimated lead time is 1–2 weeks before shipping.

I am starting with a limited first batch and will adjust production and lead times based on demand.

Important notes

The magnets are designed to help position and hold the main body against the bandsaw vise during setup. They are not a replacement for properly clamping the material with the bandsaw vise.

Always make sure your material is fully secured before cutting. Use proper bandsaw setup, safe cutting practices, and follow your saw manufacturer’s recommendations.

Fitment may vary depending on bandsaw vise style, jaw shape, and material being cut. This tool is intended to help with batch cutting setups, but final clamping and safe operation are always the responsibility of the user.
